Luke is a postgraduate research student at the University of Melbourne and Murdoch Children’s Research Institute, where he works on a longitudinal study of infants born extremely preterm through the Victorian Infant Collaborative Study.
Originally from Ireland, he has nearly 10 years’ clinical experience in respiratory and sleep laboratories. His research interests include the evolution of neonatal respiratory care, later-life lung function after extremely preterm birth, and the application of novel diagnostic techniques to better profile prematurity-associated lung disease.
