Dr Liam Beaumont

Respiratory and Sleep Paediatrician, Te Whatu Ora Waitaha Canterbury

Liam is a University of Otago, New Zealand graduate with a Post-Graduate Diploma in Child Health and Post-Graduate Certificate in Clinical Teaching.

His paediatric career began in Christchurch before transitioning to Melbourne, working at the Royal Children's and Monash Children's Hospitals to broaden his sub-specialty experience.

He became a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2025, returning to Christchurch this year to take up his current role.

Liam has been involved in small amounts of research, quality improvement and education across his paediatric training and hopes to continue to contribute both clinically and academically as his career progresses.
