Dr Arietta Spinou is a leading expert in allied respiratory health, specialising in airway clearance techniques, cough, bronchiectasis, and improving quality of life in chronic respiratory diseases. With over 13 years of clinical experience across Greece, Finland, and the United Kingdom, she has shaped a career committed to international impact.

Dr Spinou earned her PhD in Respiratory Medicine from King’s College London and an MSc in Cardiorespiratory Physiotherapy from University College London (UCL). She has chaired the European Respiratory Society (ERS) Task Force on airway clearance in bronchiectasis and was the first non-medical member of the British Thoracic Society (BTS) Pulmonary Infection Specialist Advisory Group.

 Dr Spinou’s contributions to the field have garnered national and international recognition, with nominations and awards from prestigious organisations, such as the ERS, Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Respiratory Care (ACPRC), National Health Service (NHS), and World Physiotherapy’s European Region. She has delivered over 20 invited lectures at conferences, further establishing a strong impact in her field.
